Their record “Dub Side of the Moon” (2003) the complete reggae re-vision of Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” is one of the most successful reggae albums of the 21st century. It has spent more than five years on Billboard’s Top Reggae Chart and Reggae Catalog Chart. During their performance at the IDA event Easy Star All-Stars will be performing tracks from their highly anticipated upcoming album “Easy Star’s Lonely Dub Hearts Band.

Maarten Heineken Regatta on Sunday March 8 2009 as part of the Serious Fun celebrations. The band recognized worldwide as the only group still capable of delivering Bob Marley’s message of peace love and equality will be performing on Kim Sha Beach to close out the Caribbean’s largest regatta. Born and raised in the Cayman Islands Stuart’s ancestry is rooted in Jamaica – the birthplace of reggae music. He says he has sung and played his guitar for “as long as he can remember” and he boasts a sound that is unique yet somehow familiar. His music is a flavourful style of reggae that appeals to people of many cultures and walks of life perhaps influenced by his growing up in the multi-cultural melange that is the Cayman Islands. Stuart’s songs incorporate the overtones of many of his influences which include Bob Marley Steel Pulse Maxi Priest Third World Aswad Big Mountain and many other popular artists from all genres of music. He is a gifted guitarist singer and songwriter whose work shows lyrical depth and thought.
